Auberge De L'Abbatiale is a hidden gem that merges history with comfort-a truly charming spot nestled in the scenic village of Auberive. My stay was made delightful by the welcoming atmosphere and a fabulous meal that showcased local cuisine, which perfectly complemented our evening in the medieval dining hall. Each morning, I savored a free continental breakfast on the terrace, complete with fresh bread, local meats, and homemade jams, surrounded by the beauty of the lush Langres forest. The outdoor activities were abundant; whether it was a stroll through the picturesque landscape or exploring the rich local history, every corner invited adventure. The attentive staff, especially the lovely Ana Maria, made us feel right at home, adding to the warm charm of this historic 11th-century house, and I can't wait for my next visit!
